This medication is a nutritional supplement. It promotes appetite and growth. Lysine is an essential amino acid, which is especially necessary in infants and children. Vitamin B12 is actively involved in tissue reconstitution.
It is indicated in underweight children to stimulate the appetite and hence promote an increase in body weight.
Adults: Two 5 ml spoonful.
Children: One 5 ml spoonful.
Infants: Half a 5 ml spoonful.
Take the dose at least twice and up to four times daily. Best results will be obtained if taken with or shortly before meals.
