Remarks

Crotamiton + Permethrin

Crotamiton + Permethrin is a topical combination medication consisting of an anti-itch agent (crotamiton) and an insecticide (permethrin). Crotamiton is a scabicidal and antipruritic agent that works by producing anesthesia in the skin, thereby relieving itching. Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that acts on the nervous system of parasites, leading to paralysis and death.

Crotamiton + Permethrin is used to treat scabies, a highly contagious skin infestation caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. It is also used to relieve the itching associated with scabies. It is also used to treat pruritus.

For adults and children aged 2 months and older, apply a thin layer of Crotamiton + Permethrin cream over the entire body, excluding the head and neck, and leave on for 8-14 hours before washing off. Repeat treatment after 7 days if necessary. The recommended dose for infants aged 2 months to 2 years is one application of cream to the entire body.
