Thiophanate-methyl is a colorless or white organic compound that is widely used as a fungicide on tree, vine, and root crops. It is a broad-spectrum fungicide that can be used as a foliar spray or on turf to control powdery and downy mildews, Botrytis diseases, and other fungal pathogens. It can also be used as a wound protectant for pruning cuts on trees.
