Zinc Oxide
Zinc oxide is an inorganic compound typically used topically for skin conditions.
Zinc oxide is indicated for the following condition.
- Diaper rash
- Skin irritation
- Minor burns
- Minor cuts
- Diaper rash: Each time diaper is changed/ as required.
- Other skin conditions: Applied 2-3 times daily. The cream should be uniformly applied on the affected area.
There is no notable side effects of topical zinc oxide cream.
Only use this drug with caution if it is obviously essential during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Contraindication
Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to zinc.
