Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium + Glycerine

Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium + Glycerine is a combination of two medications that are used to treat dry eyes. Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium is a type of lubricant that helps moisten and soothe the eyes by forming a protective film over the surface of the eye. Glycerine works by attracting and retaining water on the surface of the eye, which helps to keep it moist.

Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium + Glycerine is indicated for the relief of dry eye symptoms, such as dryness, irritation, and burning. It can also be used to protect the eye from further irritation caused by wind or sun exposure, and to prevent further damage to the eye caused by dryness.

The recommended dosage of Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium + Glycerine is 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed, up to four times per day. The drops should be instilled into the eye(s) using a sterile dropper or similar device, and the tip of the dropper should not touch the eye or any other surface to avoid contamination.

The most common adverse reactions associated with Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium + Glycerine are temporary blurred vision and eye redness.
