  • Cinchocaine Hydrochloride + Esculin + Hydrocortisone + Neomycin Sulphate is a combination of drugs with local anesthetic, anti-inflammatory, and antibiotic properties.
  • Mechanism of Action:
    • Cinchocaine Hydrochloride is a local anesthetic that works by blocking nerve signals, providing pain relief and reducing sensation in the affected area.
    • Esculin is an anti-inflammatory agent that helps to reduce inflammation and swelling.
    • Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid that further reduces inflammation and provides relief from itching and redness.
    • Neomycin Sulphate is an antibiotic that helps to prevent or treat infections in the affected area.

Cinchocaine Hydrochloride + Esculin + Hydrocortisone + Neomycin Sulphate is indicated for the relief of discomfort and inflammation associated with various skin conditions, including hemorrhoids and anal fissures.

 

Apply the ointment in small quantity with the finger on the painful pruritic area morning and evening after each stool. For deep application, attach cannula to tube, insert to full extent and squeeze tube gently from lower end whilst withdrawing. The ointment may be used separately or concurrently with the suppositories.

 

Adverse reactions to Cinchocaine Hydrochloride + Esculin + Hydrocortisone + Neomycin Sulphate may include:

  • Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • The cream should not be used on open wounds or broken skin, as it may increase the risk of systemic absorption and adverse effects.
  • Prolonged use of the cream may lead to skin thinning, so it should be used for the shortest duration necessary to achieve symptom relief.
  • If skin irritation or allergic reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure while using this product, as it may increase the risk of sunburn.

 

Contraindication

Cinchocaine Hydrochloride + Esculin + Hydrocortisone + Neomycin Sulphate is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or other components of the formulation.
