Cinchocaine Hydrochloride + Hydrocortisone is combination medication of cinchocaine which is a local anesthetic and hydrocortisone, which is a steroidal anti inflammatory drug that reduces inflammation and itching of the affected area. It is usually available as a cream/ointment.
Cinchocaine Hydrochloride + Hydrocortisone is indicated in-
- Hemorrhoids
- Anal pruritus
Apply a small amount of ointment to the painful or irritated area with your finger, morning and evening, and after each stool. Attach cannula to tube for deep application, insert to full extent, and gently squeeze tube from lower end while withdrawing.
The ointment can be used alone or in conjunction with the suppositories.

Side effects are usually uncommon but the followings were reported with the use of Cinchocaine Hydrochloride + Hydrocortisone-
- blurred vision
- adrenal suppression
- rash
- Apply only to the rectum and anus region, as well as the surrounding skin. Hydrocortisone can cause skin thinning and damage, particularly on the face.
- The possibility of systemic absorption should be considered in all preparations containing topical steroids. Long-term continuous therapy, in particular, should be avoided in infants. Even in the absence of occlusion, adrenal suppression can occur.
Contraindication
Known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Not for use in the presence of infections.
