Econazole Nitrate + Triamcinolone Acetonide
Econazole Nitrate + Triamcinolone Acetonide is a combination medication used to treat topical fungal infections.
Econazole Nitrate & Triamcinolone Acetonide indicated for the treatment of:
- Eczematous Mycoses
- Psoriasis
- Tinea Pedis (Athlete’s foot)
- Tinea Corporis (Ring worm)
- Tinea Cruris (Jock itch)
- Inflammatory Intertrigo
- Diaper Dermatitis
Econazole Nitrate & Triamcinolone Acetonide is available as topical ointment.
Apply thinly to the affected area and surrounding skin once or twice daily, depending on the severity of the condition. If there is no improvement after four weeks, treatment should be reviewed.

- Treatment should be stopped if irritation or sensitivity arises.
- Use only under the supervision and guidance of a doctor on children under the age of two.
- Contact with the eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided (for external use only). If no improvement is apparent in 4 weeks (for athlete's foot) or 2 weeks (for plantar fasciitis), contact a doctor (for jock itch).
