Gentamicin + Sulphadimidine + Trimethoprim

Gentamicin + Sulphadimidine + Trimethoprim is a combination antibiotic drug consisting of gentamicin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, sulphadimidine, a sulfonamide antibiotic, and trimethoprim, a diaminopyrimidine antibiotic. The combination of these three drugs provides a broad-spectrum antibiotic effect against gram-negative and some gram-positive bacteria. The mechanism of action of gentamicin involves inhibiting protein synthesis in bacterial cells, while sulphadimidine and trimethoprim block the folic acid synthesis pathway, which is essential for bacterial cell growth.
