Glycerine + Liquid Sugar

Glycerol is a polyhydric alcohol. Glycerol and liquid sugar is used for the relief of dry irritating cough. It is a hygroscopic solution.

 

Glycerine + Liquid Sugar is indicated for the symptomatic relief of dry cough.

 

  • Adults & Children over 5 years of age: 10 mL per day (two spoon full)
  • Children 1 to 5 years: 5 mL per day.
  • Children 3 months to 1 year: 2.5 mL per day.

 

 

There are no significant side effects of this medication.

 

Patients with diabetes should be cautious about taking this medication as it contains sugar.

 

Contraindication

Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to any ingredient of the medication.
