Calcium Pantothenate
Calcium Pantothenate is a calcium supplement. Calcium plays important roles in the formation of teeth and bones. It also helps in contraction of cardiac and skeletal muscles. Calcium also aids in blood coagulation.
Calcium Pantothenate is indicated for the following conditions-
- Hypocalcemia
- Muscle cramps
- Burning feet syndrome
- Alopecia
- Grey hair
Slow intravenous or deep intramuscular as required or as directed by physician.
Calcium Pantothenate may cause the following side effects-
- Dyspepsia
- Bradycardia
- Arrythmia
- Pain at injection site
Caution should be exercised when treating patients with compromised renal function.
Contraindication
Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to any component of the medication.
