Pyridoxine Hydrochloride + Riboflavin + Vitamin B1

Pyridoxine Hydrochloride + Riboflavin + Vitamin B1 is a combination of different B vitamins.

Pyridoxine Hydrochloride is a water soluble form of pyridoxine or Vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 is a vitamin that benefits the central nervous system and metabolism. Its roles include turning food into energy and helping to create neurotransmitters, such as serotonin and dopamine. 

Riboflavin, also known as vitamin B2, acts in conjunction with the other B vitamins. It is necessary for the development of the body. It aids in the formation of red blood cells. It also assists in the energy release from proteins. Riboflavin aids in the conversion of carbohydrates to adenosine triphosphate (ATP).

Vitamin B1, often known as thiamine, in one of the 8 essential vitamins which means that our body cannot produce this vitamin on its own. It is soluble in water. Vitamin B1 allows the body to utilize carbohydrates for energy. It is required for glucose metabolism and is important for nerve, muscle, and cardiac function.

Vitamin-B complex is indicated for prophylactic or therapeutic nutritional supplementation in physiologically stressful conditions. These include-

Conditions causing depletion, or reduced absorption or bioavailability of essential B-vitamins manifested by glossitis, stomatitis, cheilosis, beriberi.

  • Tablet/capsule: The usual recommended dose is 1-2 tablet/capsule three times daily, or as directed by your doctor.
  • Syrup: 2-3 teaspoons daily, or as directed by a doctor.
  • Injections are administered intramuscularly and intravenously. The usual recommended dose is 2 mL daily, or as directed by your doctor.

This preparation is generally well tolerated. Some side effects may appear in case of overdose. such as-
