Sulphachloropyridazone + Trimethoprim
Sulphachloropyridazone + Trimethoprim is a combination of two antibiotics that work synergistically to treat bacterial infections in animals. Sulphachloropyridazone is a sulfonamide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial growth by blocking the synthesis of folic acid. Trimethoprim is a diaminopyrimidine antibiotic that inhibits the synthesis of tetrahydrofolic acid, a precursor to folic acid, which further enhances the antibacterial effect of Sulphachloropyridazone.
Treatment and prevention of respiratory, intestinal and systemic infections caused by sulfachloropyridazine-trimethoprim-sensitive organisms in chickens, turkeys and geese.
To be administered orally, in the drinking water.
