Cobalt Sulfate

Cobalt is an essential trace element. It is a component of vitamin B12 and is consequently required for cellular function. It also plays a role in the creation of red blood cells as well as antibacterial and antiviral substances that keep infections away.

Cobalt sulfate is indicated in Cobalt deficiency.

The recommended average adult intake of cobalt is 5 to 8 microgram per day.

Cobalt at recommended doses is safe. However, if taken at a higher dose for long amount of time, the following side effects may appear.
